Hey, guys! I was surprised by how much traction I got with my last post. I’m sorry to disappoint everyone, but I can’t remember the dream I had last night. I stopped responding to comments pretty quickly since I got intimidated by how many there were (even in my years of internet experience, I still feel like an old man trying to navigate the “new world,” haha), so instead of a dream log, this will be an information post! I’ll pin it to my profile and edit as I go, so always check here if you have any questions, since they might have already been answered.

Why am I interested in lucid dreaming? I’ve always struggled with nightmares, so I thought if I could become aware that I was in a nightmare, then I would be able to wake up from them easier. I was also hoping that, once I become better at it, I could just change the nightmare to be something fun, like being inside of my favorite book or something (I’ll tell you guys, if I get to become a wizard).

Have I ever lucid dreamed before? Nope! I’ve always wanted to, but I’ve never been able to stick with any of the different techniques. I’ve tried the subliminals and the guided meditations and all that junk, but most often that stuff is super spiritual, and it just feels weird to me. I’ve tried dream journaling in the past, and I haven’t been able to stick to it, but it has been the easiest method for me to keep up, so I decided to take another shot at it.

Do I believe in dream interpretations/can you give me dream interpretations? No, I have never believed that dreams have meaning. In the kindest way possible, to me, it is all a load of baloney used to scam desperate people, and I find the business practice to be pretty tasteless. When it’s not for business, I think it’s interesting, and anybody is free to give me their interpretations, but do so with the understanding that I won’t be taking it seriously. This is also my way of telling anybody who thinks my blog is a potential place to advertise that it is NOT. Please do not advertise in my comment sections.

Anyway, those are all of the general questions I felt like answering for now! Again, I will continue to update this post whenever I get enough of the same questions or any I think are worth answering. Thanks for reading!

Edit: I wanted to address the influx of comments about my mental health. Yes, I am doing perfectly fine. I do not have PTSD. I do not have any mental or cognitive disorders (that I am aware of) or anything that would affect my psyche in the way you guys are implying. I have had loved ones pass away, but not recently, nor am I concerned that anybody in my life will pass away anytime soon. Please stop trying to tell me that my dreams are omens of death and all that weird shit; it makes me very uncomfortable. Thank you.

Edit 2: Sorry for any newcomers, a lot of my posts are related so you will have trouble just jumping in at any point in the blog. Here’s the link to my first post in case you want to get started from the beginning.

Edit 3: I’ve decided I am no longer allowing dream interpretations on my page. Please keep your thoughts about what you think my dreams mean to yourself, or at least off my blog. Thanks.

Edit 4: Why are comments turned off? Will they be turned back on? I got tired of dealing with the amount of harassment I was receiving on my posts. I don’t see myself turning them back on anytime soon, if at all.

Edit 5: I don’t have a history of sleepwalking. I have never sleepwalked until now, and I’m lost on what to do. If anybody has resources for how to stop sleepwalking, please DM them to me.

Edit From New Poster: Hello. This is the new poster for this account. I was a big fan of OP’s blog, so I’m looking into his alleged disappearance right now. If you have any leads, please feel free to reach out. DMs are open, and comments are turned on. Thanks.

Hello, everyone! I decided to start a blog to document my dreams instead of using a dream journal. I have been interested in lucid dreaming for a long time now, and I figured this would be easier than keeping an actual journal since my entries will be documented online and I can upload them from my phone no matter where I am (I was also hoping that you guys would be able to hold me accountable, haha).

I’ll start with my dream from last night: I was standing at the edge of a clearing in the woods. It was daytime, and standing opposite me under a large tree in the middle of the field was a figure I didn’t recognize. It was definitely a person, but the details of their face were hard to make out. I can’t remember anything about their appearance or what happened in the dream; the picture of them standing there is just very clear in my mind.

That’s all for today! I’ll try to update every day, even if I can’t remember my dream. Thanks for reading!

December 17th, 2025
Hey, guys! Before I start, I will be referencing my first post a lot in this one, so if you don’t want to be confused, I’d recommend checking that out before reading this one. Anyway, let’s get into it:

I was running through the woods, and I ended up in the clearing from my last dream, same tree in the middle and everything. On the other side of the tree was the same figure from before, except their features were a lot easier to make out up close. I’m not sure if they were a boy or a girl, but they had this look on their face like they were really, really sad about something.

This is a weird thing to mention since it feels pretty irrelevant, but there was this overwhelming familiarity, like they were my best friend or something. Seeing them sad gave me an inclination to comfort them. I remember trying to talk to them, but it was so difficult to move my mouth that I actually woke myself up from the effort.

So, yeah, it’s a bit of a weird one. Not much to say, but I’m just gonna remind you, funky psychics and business people trying to sell spiritual dream readings: I do not allow advertising on my posts. Anyway, thanks for reading!

December 18th, 2025
Hey, guys! My blog has been getting even more traction lately, so if you’re new here, welcome! There were a few morbid comments on my last post that I deleted, so I’ll start this post off by saying any comments like that will be deleted in the future as well. Save your time by not commenting weird shit on my blog. Anyway, last night’s dream was pretty foggy, but I’ll do my best to recount the events:

I was on a subway in the middle of the night. I can’t remember if there were people around me, but I remember feeling really, really guilty about something. Like, not surface-level guilty, but full-on; I felt like I murdered someone guilty. I even woke up in tears (yes, I’m a grown man. Yes, I cry. Yes, I can admit it).

Bit of a short one today, sorry about that. Thanks for reading!

December 19th, 2025
Hey, guys. Sorry for the lame update; I can’t remember anything about my dream last night. I remember feeling a bit uneasy when I woke up, so I probably had a nightmare, but that’s all. Not a lot to chew on today, sorry. Thanks for reading!

December 20th, 2025
Hey, guys. My blog has gotten a lot of attention from horror lovers, so I’m giving you guys a shout-out today because last night’s dream was a nightmare. I’ll just get right into it:

I was on the subway again; this time I’m certain there was only one other person on the subway with me, the one from the clearing. We were standing on opposite ends of the car, just staring at each other when they suddenly opened the subway door and motioned for me to follow them. Then, they jumped out. The car was moving way too fast for me to follow them, so for what felt like maybe an hour or two, I sat on the ground screaming until the subway car finally stopped at a station and let me off. There they were, on the stairwell of the station, standing perfectly safe. They motioned for me to follow them, and I wanted to, but my body moved on its own, and I got back on the subway. That’s all I remember before I woke up.

Before you comment, please read the post I have pinned to my blog. I do not want to see ANYONE saying creepy shit about what my dreams mean. I’m really getting sick of having to delete those comments. Also, I’ve noticed the person from the clearing has become a recurring figure in my dreams, so I’m taking name suggestions for them because “the person from the clearing” is annoying to type every single time. Thanks for reading!

December 21st, 2025
Hey, guys. Before we start on tonight’s dream, I want to announce the person from the clearing’s new name: Louis Cid Dreamer. Somebody commented the name on my last post, and it made me giggle, and it also felt representative of the actual purpose of my blog, which is to lucid dream. I have been thinking of them as Louis since I read the name, and I’ve grown fond of it, so it’s staying. Last night’s dream actually features Mr/Ms. Dreamer, so let’s get into it:

I was sitting in the clearing under the big tree. I could feel somebody watching me, so I looked up and saw that Louis was in the tree, hanging right above me. As soon as I saw them, they started climbing higher. Not wanting to miss the opportunity to talk to them, I started climbing up after them, but my hand slipped, and I started falling. I woke up right before I hit the ground.

I haven’t climbed a tree since I was a boy, but Louis seemed to think I was still capable of it, haha. I’m a little past my prime, but maybe I’ll give it another shot in real life (and hopefully not fall to my death this time). Thanks for reading!

December 22nd, 2025
Hey, guys. I had another nightmare last night. You all voiced your concerns on my last nightmare post, but I want to remind you all that the reason I started this blog in the first place was that I wanted to find a way to stop my nightmares, so this is nothing new to me. Anyway, here’s last night’s dream:

I was walking through the woods with Louis, just talking about whatever. At some point, we came to a large hole in the ground. Like, seriously large. If you guys know about Greek mythology, it looked like an entrance to Tartarus or something. It felt like it, too. Being near it filled me with this overwhelming sense of dread and horror. When I looked over to Louis, they were gone. I remember leaning over to see what was at the bottom, but I woke up before I could.

I guess all you conspiracy theorists were right; my dreams are trying to take me to hell, haha. Anyway, thanks for reading!

December 23rd, 2025
Hey, guys, sorry for the lame update; I can’t remember my dream from last night. I do have some things I want to talk about, though. I can feel myself getting closer and closer to lucid dreaming every night. I’ve been looking into some more methods, and there are a few that I’m curious about, so I’ll let you guys know if I end up trying anything new. Anyway, again, not much to talk about today, but thanks for reading!

December 24th, 2025
Guys, I did it. I don’t want to get any of your hopes up; it was barely a lucid dream, but I think it still counts. Here’s what happened:

After walking in the woods for a little while, I made it to the clearing. When I saw the tree in the middle, I realized I was dreaming. Like, pattern recognition in my brain actually registered the tree as a sign of me being asleep because of how many times I’ve seen it in my dreams. Who would’ve thought the dream journaling would actually work, haha. Anyway, once I realized I was dreaming, I flew off the ground and started bouncing around everywhere uncontrollably, which isn’t too weird, since I’ve heard it’s not easy to control at first. I was trying to get control and make something interesting happen, but before I could, I completely lost all ability to manipulate my surroundings, and I fell to the ground. I wanted to regain control of my dream so bad, but the effort of trying woke me up.

I know it’s not anything crazy, but I’ll get better the more I do it, so I’ll keep you guys updated. Thanks for reading!

December 25th, 2025
Hey, guys, happy holidays! That’s right, I’m not taking a day off, not even for Christmas. I’m too stoked to skip even one night, especially after last night’s dream. I won’t delay any more of the excitement:

I was walking on the side of an empty highway. I recognized it as one I drive on to get to work every day, and I was thinking about how odd it was for it to be empty because I’ve never seen it like that in all the years I’ve been driving over it, when I suddenly realized I was dreaming. When I realized that, cars appeared out of nowhere. They started driving toward me, trying to hit me, but when they would get close, I would wave them off, and they’d fly away. I was actually controlling my dream! Just as I was getting the hang of it, Louis appeared next to me. I got distracted from the cars, and one of them nearly hit me, but I woke up before it could.

So, yeah, very exciting! I’m gonna keep trying. Last night’s improvement from the night before was really crazy; I just know I’m gonna get really good at it soon. Anyway, thanks for reading!

December 26th, 2025
Hey, guys, in case you haven’t already, please go check out the most recent edit on my information post. I don’t want to get into it any more than I have to, so I’m just gonna talk about my nightmare last night:

I sat with Louis on a busy subway, chatting about whatever, but the conversation was cut short when I realized I was dreaming. As I realized, I got this really weird sense of fear, like I knew something I wasn’t supposed to. I tried to keep it a secret, but I couldn’t seem to control myself, and I ended up shouting, “This is a dream!” Everybody on the subway stopped and looked at me. It was so terrifying that I actually forced myself to wake up.

I’ve achieved what I wanted, which was to be able to wake myself up from nightmares. I didn’t really think about what I’d do with this blog when I actually reached my goal; I guess I’ll just have to consider it more. For now, I’m just gonna keep posting like normal.

December 27th, 2025
Hey, guys. Yesterday, I mentioned that I wasn’t sure what to do with this blog after reaching my goal. Well, I spent the rest of yesterday thinking about it, and I’ve decided to continue posting for the foreseeable future. Despite the amount of negative comments I’ve received in the past, I do actually look forward to reading the comments every time I post (I suppose it’s my own fault that I let the negativity get to me, haha), and I got a lot of comments on my last post from people who really wanted me to continue posting, which wasn’t something I even knew I cared about that much, but I have to admit that it influenced my decision.

Now, with all of the sappy stuff out of the way, let’s get into last night’s dream:

I was on an empty subway with Louis. I knew I was dreaming, but I couldn’t control anything. We stood together for a little while before they opened the door, motioned for me to follow, and jumped off the subway. I walked over to the open door of the subway and prepared to follow Louis off. I’m still a bit confused about this next part, but I’ll try to explain as best as I can. When Louis was gone, I had this sense of control, like I gained the ability to manipulate my dream, but even though I meant to follow them, I stopped in front of the door and just stared at the moving walls of the subway station instead. I think it was my fight-or-flight response keeping me from jumping out. Regardless, the subway got to the station, and standing on the staircase again was Louis. I think the dream kept going, but I can’t remember anything after that.

Reading back my past blog posts, I’ve noticed a pattern of Louis trying to lead me to various places, and I’m curious about it. I don’t think there’s any real reason, and again, I don’t allow dream interpretations on my posts, but if they do it again, then I am going to try to follow them and figure out what my brain will come up with. Thanks for reading!

December 28th, 2025
Hey, guys. I was put off by the number of people calling me ‘stupid’ for wanting to follow Louis wherever they were trying to take me. I don’t know why any of you think you have the right to say that to me, but any commenters I see saying those things are immediately getting blocked. They’re dreams. I have no plans to stop posting on this blog, but if things get too out of hand, then I might have to turn comments off. Negativity aside, I don’t remember my dream last night, and I waited until the end of this post on purpose so you would waste your time reading it, just like how my time has been wasted reading your rude comments.

December 29th, 2025
Hey, guys. You might notice how comments aren’t available on this post, or any other. That’s because I decided to turn them off. After yesterday, the influx of angry people calling me names was just too much. I’ll save you the long introduction because I just don’t feel like writing more than I have to. Here’s my dream:

I was making dinner in my kitchen while Louis sat at the table. While I was cooking, they stood up and motioned for me to follow them into my hallway (and I did, get over it). The hallway seemed to just get longer and longer the more we walked, seemingly never ending. The rest of the dream was just me walking down the hallway with Louis.

Following Louis didn’t make any weird supernatural bullshit happen. To those of you who were overly superstitious, take this as a lesson not to push your beliefs on other people. Thanks for reading.

December 30th, 2025
Hey, guys, sorry for the short post today; I’m exhausted, and I don’t have the energy to write very much. I spent literally all day repairing my kitchen after a fire. I wish I could’ve hired a handyman, but I just didn’t have the money after Christmas (curse me for wanting to spoil my kids, haha). Anyway, sorry again; thanks for reading.

December 31st, 2025
Hey, guys. To make up for yesterday’s lack of a dream story, I’ll put yesterday’s and today’s in this post. Let’s just get right into them:

Yesterday, in my dream, I was standing in my living room looking at photos of my family that were hanging on the wall. I was telling Louis about my wife and kids when they grabbed one of the photos and walked off with it. I followed them outside, but they weren’t anywhere to be found, and the space in front of my house turned into the highway I take to work. Since I’ve almost been hit by a car from that highway in my dreams before, I decided to go back inside. That’s all I remember before I woke up.

In my dream from last night, I started out standing in my living room. I already had a sense of awareness that I was in a dream, but I couldn’t seem to take control. My body moved on its own from my living room out into my backyard, which stretched into a patch of woods. No matter how much I tried to change my surroundings into something cooler, like a fairytale land or something, I just couldn’t seem to change anything. At some point during my walk, Louis appeared next to me. I don’t usually remember our conversations in my dreams, but I do remember what I said last night. I asked them why they are always in my dreams. In response, they motioned for me to follow them and led me over to a subway station in the woods. Louis pulled me inside and pointed to a train car with two people standing in it: me and Louis. The duplicate version of Louis opened the emergency exit and stepped outside, and when I followed after, everything around us changed. I was actually in the sky, flying around on a broom, and everything was filled with magic. No joke, I became an actual wizard. I wish I could’ve enjoyed it more, but I woke up immediately after.

I said previously that I don’t believe in dream meanings. However, the message here feels really clear to me. I think Louis is trying to help me get control of my dreams. I mean, the only lucid dreams I’ve ever had have been dreams involving them, so it makes sense to me. Either way, I am gonna try a new method tomorrow night. Thanks for reading.

January 1st, 2026
I have never experienced sleep paralysis in my life until last night. I was going to try a method where you go to bed, wake up in the middle of the night, and then try to lucid dream from there, but I started having sleep paralysis. This is a dream journal blog, not a sleep paralysis journal blog, but it just feels relevant because I saw Louis standing over me. I’m not sure if it’s common to see hallucinations like that; I only ever hear about people seeing the hat man. I wish I could start this post by saying happy new year, but I just feel too uneasy. I didn’t sleep last night after that. Regardless, thanks for reading.

January 2nd, 2026
So, I had a dream last night about being on the subway with Louis, but it wasn’t anything of interest, so I’m gonna skip over it and discuss something that I think is more worth talking about. Yesterday I decided to go on a hike. There’s a patch of woods behind my house with a trail that I usually follow, and I’ve never gone off the trail before, not until yesterday. I wanted to step outside my comfort zone. While walking through the woods, I realized that they looked identical to the ones I’ve been seeing in my dreams. It was so freaky that I ended up cutting my hike short and going home. I’m honestly kind of lost on what to do. I’m not a superstitious person, but I just don’t know how it was possible for me to know what those woods looked like without having seen them before. I’m sorry for straying from my usual format; I’m gonna continue the blog as usual after this, but I’m seriously freaked out. Thanks for reading.

January 2nd, 2026
I feel sick. After I posted earlier, I decided to go back out to the woods, just to make sure I wasn’t imagining things. I went off the trail and, same as yesterday, the woods were identical to the ones in my dream. Instead of turning back again, I continued on, and I found something that is still kind of unbelievable. Is there any reason why a subway station would be sitting in the middle of the woods? It looked abandoned, but I didn’t go inside, so it could’ve just been worn down. I just don’t understand why it would be there in the first place. I’m looking into it now, but it’s hard to find information on it. For now, I think I’m just going to avoid the woods and continue on as normal. It’s embarrassing to admit, but I’m actually kind of scared to sleep tonight. Anyway, I’ll keep you guys posted. Thanks for reading.

January 3rd, 2026
I’m writing this in the middle of the night because I’m scared shitless and I don’t want to lose any of the emotion I felt in my nightmare. I skipped all my usual lucid dream prep and went straight to bed last night, but despite that, my dream was VERY lucid. There wasn’t the usual dream fog or that kind of membrane that keeps everything from being too vivid. Like, I felt awake. But seeing Louis standing across from me in the woods assured me that I was very much asleep. Until now, this has never seemed relevant enough for me to consider, but Louis never shows any emotion. Like, their expressions are always blank, and now that I’m thinking about it, I don’t think they’re ever actually speaking to me. Last night, for the first time ever, they frowned at me, and everything just seemed to crumble. That familiar feeling I mentioned they gave off before was gone. In an instant, they became a stranger to me, a potential threat that has been following me around for way too long now. Even though it was my first real lucid dream, my own terror forced me to wake myself up instead of trying to control it. I’m beyond terrified right now, and there’s no way in hell I’m going back to sleep after that. Thanks for reading.

January 4th, 2026
I didn’t sleep last night. I’m updating out of obligation, but I don’t have much to say. I made a doctor’s appointment, and I think I’m going to get a sleep study soon. I just don’t want to have nightmares anymore. Thanks for reading.

January 5th, 2026
As much as I wish I could stay awake forever, I had to sleep last night because the sleep deprivation was really affecting my work. Thankfully, I don’t remember my dream last night, but everything is making me feel like I’m losing my mind. I had a conversation with some of my coworkers about the subway station, but they all said I was probably hallucinating due to lack of sleep. I thought about telling my wife, but she gets really freaked out about this stuff, so I figured it would be best not to. I’ve been getting tons of DMs about hiring a psychic or saging my house, but I’m just too nervous to do anything like that and alert my wife to what’s going on. If anybody has any discreet solutions, please let me know. Thanks for reading.

January 6th, 2026
I can’t sleep anymore. I really can’t. In my dream, I was in the subway station in one of the cars, and Louis was standing next to an open door. I couldn’t control myself. I started walking towards the door even though I was screaming at myself to stop. I managed to wake up just before I stepped out, but the horror didn’t end there. I woke up in the goddamn subway station. I can’t even make this shit up. I woke up in the subway station, the one in the middle of the woods, and not in my bed. I would swear I was still dreaming if I didn’t walk all the way home. My wife even asked me where I was! I don’t know what the hell happened, but I can’t sleep anymore. I’m terrified of what will happen if I fall asleep again. Please, somebody, please help me.

January 7th, 2026
I didn’t sleep last night. I decided to tell my wife about what has been happening and, like I thought, she freaked out. We’re packing right now, and we’re gonna be on the road all day, so this is a short post, but I’ll keep you guys updated. I’ve had some people DMing me asking me to turn comments back on, so I finally decided to, just because the flood of DMs has been really stressful with everything going on. I won’t be replying to comments, and I’m muting my notifications for now. Thanks for reading.

January 8th, 2026
I didn’t sleep last night either. I’m running on coffee and spite right now, and I’m sleeping in a hotel room. My wife decided it would be best for us to drop the kids off at my parents’ house, so it’s just us right now, but I’m still so terrified. Even with her here keeping an eye on me, I don’t feel safe. We both have to sleep eventually. I’m just hoping my doctor’s appointment will clear some things up, and hopefully I can get on some medication, maybe something that keeps me from dreaming. The appointment is tomorrow, so I just have to get through one more night.

January 8th, 2026
I don’t know what to do. I;m losing my mind right now. My wife left ewith the kids had an accident so she had to go back to my parents house and Im so scared right now. I can fel myself driginting off Im all out of coffee and I am so goddamn tired right now I dont know what to do. Please help. God please help me. I cant keep my eyes open anymore. Hello. OP hasn’t posted in some time, and I just managed to get into his account. There have been a lot of assumptions about this account being a troll account, but to be safe, I’ve decided to do some research into everything here, so feel free to share any leads you may have. Thanks for the help and happy reading!
